What is an "Americaversary", anyway? 

​

We're celebrating co-founder Omar Alsaadi's 44th anniversary of immigration to the United State from Damascus, Syria in 1979 (hence the 79 cent falafel, get it?). The Americaversary is a celebration of the dream that Omar brought to life in creating Pita Chip. We are a company whose vision is to create belonging, which is a reflection of the acceptance that immigrants strive for when coming to America.

What charities are we benefiting?

 

For this year’s celebration, we are donating proceeds from the day’s sales to Northeast Philadelphia’s Caring for Friends, and Morrisville, PA’s Interfaith Food Alliance, both of which help combat food insecurity.
